Elixirs and mocktails are both known as being beverages that are non-alcoholic alternatives to alcoholic drinks, but what is the difference between the two?

Elixirs are functional beverages that are designed to give support to the physical body and provide it with more energy, while a mocktail is the name of a mixed drink that is intended to copy the complexity and presentation of a traditional cocktail but without the alcohol.
