However, all a Christian or a curious individual has to do is examine the Bible to find that there are over 89 different scriptures in the Bible relating to near-death experiences. However, what many people long to understand, especially about Near death experiences and the Bible, the lessons people can glean from these types of experiences.

There are a few different ways to approach the idea of Near death experiences and the Bible. What you’ll understand by reading through the over 80 different Scriptures relating to near-death experiences is that these experience are used for a number of different purposes. In some cases, these near-death experiences offered individuals the foresight of prophetic events. These experiences are used in the Bible to warn people about impending difficulties or in a general sense, to inform people about events that will take place in the future.

In many cases, people experience physical death or close to physical death and God, in his power and in his mercy will pull people away from death in order for those people to fulfill a specific purpose God has for their life.

The idea of near-death experiences can be found often in the Bible. Many people have experienced this event and walked away from it with different outlooks on the purpose. While much of this is left to the interpretation of the individual, there is biblical precedence for near-death experiences and in the Scripture, a person can investigate this, finding different purposes God planned for them.
