Schools need money in order to do all the things they want. While these can be a fun way to earn a little money for your school, they are not big money-makers, so don’t expect to earn a lot.
Medium Amounts
Fundraising ideas for medium amounts of money can include flower seeds, cookie dough, popcorn and much more. These options will be interesting to a larger amount of people, so you can expect to earn more money. However, many of these options cost less to the consumer, meaning you will have to sell thousands to earn large amounts of money.
Large Amounts
If your school needs to earn a lot of money for sports equipment, trips for band camp or other large things, you will need a fundraiser that sells bigger items for a larger amount of money. If you sell 100 items that cost $15.00 and 100 items that cost $40, you will make more money with the larger-priced item.
Cool ideas include totes, insulated lunch bags or boxes, travel bags, storage shelves or boxes and other accessories. Selling a whole lot of different items is usually a good idea, so people can have a wide variety from which to choose.
Scarves, jewelry, keychains and hair ties may cost less, but you would also be pairing them with insulated lunch bags and storage items that cost more. Younger people would be interested in the hair and body accessories while older people will be interested in the totes and storage options.
