A manual cold lamination machine is quite handy for instructors of all grade levels. It differs in quite a few ways from a hot laminator, but it can also help you create a wider variety of projects — from nametags to personalized bookmarks. To learn more about some crafty things you can do with your cold laminator, read on.

Bathroom Passes

Create a laminated bathroom pass, and never worry about your kids bringing back a damp and soggy paper ever again. Design one for the girls and boys bathroom. Write out the bathroom rules as a reminder that they shouldn’t take too long or get distracted while away from class.

Bookmarks With Quotes

If you’re reading a text that resonates with your kids, create individualized bookmarks for every student. Write their respective names on one side, and pen their favorite quote from the novel, poem, or speech on the other. Then, have them decorate their masterpiece before running it through your cold lamination machine. This personalized project may also get your students exceptionally excited about reading.

Goal Tracker

Regardless of the subject you teach, consider creating a goal tracker for each student. Laminate these, so the students may use dry-erase markers and wipe their sheet down once their semester is over. They can then create new goals to achieve the following year.

Reusable Flash Cards

If your students have a big test coming up, create helpful and reusable flashcards that will have them memorize the most crucial aspects of the topic they’re studying.
